I love this guy. He should do all the BC lions press. The Lions in-house press guy seems like a nice fellow, but has no stage presence. Bring on Giulio and the Moj. We need to look at better ways to get Lions media exposure. We need a coach's radio segment each week, a phone in show (see Blue Bombers). We need our players on local radio, get their names out there (see Hamilton) . We have the team, now let's expose them and get the public knowing them-- billboards in Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Victoria, Prince George?

I should've been more clear. They were a sexy pick to win it all, but the offense took a big hit when Zetterberg went down. Canada played very poorly in that SF game and let them make it close

@@HockeyClippings agree to disagree.. i think canada "let that" SF get close because stringing together three periods playing that jumpy "out of the gate" overwhelming style, is very difficult, it with eventually lose rhythm against better competition. which was apparent in the GMG.

That reminds me. Next you see a guy like Ferraro saying momentum doesn't carry over into the next game just point to this year's finals: Panthers 3 in a row then Oilers 3 in a row. The biggest stage in hockey and one team plays with confidence while the other plays scared with a sharp pivot after game 3, all in the brains of the players. I usually agree with everything he says but his opinion on momentum swings always stuck out to me.

Edmonton obviously has all the momentum in the world, and if they get a quick goal to start the game, this thing can be over very quickly... But that said, the fact that there is a 2-day layoff between games 6 and 7 just brings back memories from the 1994 finals, when the Canucks had all the momentum in the world, but there were two days in between games, and the Rangers managed to collect themselves and took game 7... I just hope it will be a good game tonight - the playoffs this year had been filled with drama, and I don't want a let-down in the very last game...

I'm obviously cheering for Edmonton because I just want this 31 year narrative to be over and done with so I can start cheering for teams based on reasons other than the country where the team plays home games (I'd love to cheer for Florida at some point), but I think the Panthers have shown they can figure it out. If Bobrovsky plays in Game 7 like he played in Games 1-3, there's probably nothing the Oilers can do. If he's anything like he played in the last 3, Edmonton has a very good chance. I remember after Game 6 in 1994, a game the Canucks won handily despite late game theatrics 4-1, I thought the Rangers were done. A lot can happen over a 60 minute game and I think we could find out in the first period and the way calls go for or against a certain team how the game will go. I'm not saying there's any shenanigans from New York, but if the Oilers take a couple of early penalties, they could be playing catch up. At the very least, taking early penalties in a Game 7 in late June would be exhausting for team that has alread played a lot of games this year and that's kind of what happened to the Canucks. They fell behind 2-0 in a 4 minute span early, partly thanks to a PP goal when they were already down 1-0, and they just couldn't quite come back.

Since 3-0 the oilers haven't had any of the pressure. Yes it's a must win situation but at 3-0 nobody expected them to win. Now the pressure is on Florida to close it out. If Edmonton loses tonight people are gonna say "at least they made it a series". Florida is facing the pressure of blowing a 3-0 series lead in the Stanley cup final. All that pressure is now on them after dropping 2 straight games, not on Edmonton
